- Collaborative working
- Regeneration for a healthy city
Planning and public health have shared origins, both disciplines arising from the need to tackle poor living conditions in 19th century cities. Exploring planning and health collaboratively today can still create positive health outcomes for all of society, encouraging active travel, connectivity and vibrant communities to work and live.
This conference will share experience and expertise from leaders in the field of reuniting planning, place making and health and aims to share fresh thinking that can help inform new ways of working in the context of local government reform. It will also showcase how local initiatives can help create healthy cities and tackle disadvantage aimed at promoting and supporting planning and health.
