Focusing on Active Travel, it aim was to compare the situation in Belfast with that in major European cities and share the best of International practice from leading active travel cities

This seminar, which was chaired by Andrew Hassard, Director of Parks and Leisure, Belfast City Council, illustrated leading examples of active travel focused cities, highlighting the added benefits for all of society when streets are designed for people, not cars.
